Individually redesigned to capture the spirit of Henley’s rowing tradition, the River Thames and the natural botanical beauty of the Chiltern Valley around us, our 40 guestrooms are havens of calm and well-being.
Each room has a modern ensuite bathroom – with bathtubs where the contours of the 16th-century building allowed us to accommodate them – and curated amenities by ALGOTHERM, a natural, vegan and cruelty free producer. Other 21st-century conveniences include air-conditioning and charging points.

our Courtyard Rooms are lovingly cosy and convenient for easy access to the outdoors
With contemporary eclectic bespoke furnishings and wonderfully comfortable queen beds, a Courtyard Room also enables you to feel part of the inn’s history. You look out over the straw-coloured walls of the timber-framed Chantry House from 1461, and picturesque St Mary’s Church next door.
Two Courtyard Rooms are fully wheelchair accessible with added features to help with your access requirements.

Choose a four-poster for a special occasion, or the very room that was first occupied by King Charles I in 1632.
