Platinum Jubilee Weekend

This Summer will mark a most monumental occasion, as Her Majesty The Queen is celebrated for her Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 70 years of service to the people of Great Britain and The Commonwealth.

The Relais Henley will be hosting a series of celebratory events on the extended Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend in order to come together to reflect on this unprecedented anniversary.

These key experiences and events will be hosted between Thursday the 2nd and Sunday the 5th of June. Discover our offerings below and join us in celebrating the Platinum Jubilee.




You are invited to join us for a monumental celebration, to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. On this most special occasion, the hotel will be hosting a series of special events including a Royal Menu by Mosimann's of London.

A highlight of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations at The Relais Henley includes a Royal Menu by Mosimann's of London, featuring a set menu made up of dishes prepared in Mosimann's rich history of cooking for the royals.

Mosimann has cooked for four generations of royals, including catering for the Queen's diamond jubilee feast where he served 21 sovereigns, as well as some of the most important royal weddings of recent history.

SATURDAY 6 PM onwards - £85 PER GUEST (+ 12.5% service charge)

Jubilee Weekend BBQ

For a more casual gathering at The Relais Henley, and to celebrate in true Jubilee Street Party style, we will be hosting a BBQ lunch on Thursday, Friday from 12pm - 7pm and after we will be serving our spring menu until last order at 9.30pm, and on Saturday from 12pm - 4pm, making the most of the summer weather.

The price for BBQ is at £38.50 per person (+ 12.5% service charge)

In a celebration of music from across the British Isles,  St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle will be hosting a range of special performances inside the beautiful St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, which has been home to many official Royal moments across history.

For those intending to visit London by train for a day during their stay at The Relain Henley, a 1-hour train ride from Henley on Thames station will take you directly into the center of the city, prime for exploring.

There are a few key events throughout the Jubilee Weekend, including:

  • Thursday 2nd June  - The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour)
  • Friday 3rd June - Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral
  • Saturday 4th June - Platinum Party at the Palace with The BBC
